The Municipality of La Maddalena (hereinafter \"the Authority\") protects the privacy of users who interact with its digital services: the official website and the dedicated application (hereinafter \"App\").<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Municipality of La Maddalena (hereinafter also \"the Authority\"), in compliance with the principles established by EU Regulation No. 2016\/679 concerning the protection of individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data, as well as the free movement of such data, offers users the possibility to interact with this application (hereinafter the \"App\") provided to consult and\/or use the relevant services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This page, in addition to describing the data processed pursuant to Art. 13 of the aforementioned \"Regulation,\" aims to inform users who connect to the Apps of the Municipality of La Maddalena regarding the processing of personal data and the relative guarantees recognized by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Personal data will be processed in relation to the services offered by this Authority through its Apps, exclusively for purposes that fall within the institutional tasks of the Administration and of public interest, or for fulfillments required by laws or regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Within the scope of these purposes, processing may also require data related to App registration\/enrollment necessary for managing relations with the services of the Municipality of La Maddalena, as well as to enable effective institutional communication and to comply with any legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The processing of data connected to the App services takes place primarily at the Municipality of La Maddalena and possibly with the collaboration of other subjects specifically appointed as data processors based on Art. 28 of the GDPR, or contracted in joint data controllership with other entities for associated or conventional services. Data processing occurs for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes, including through the use of automated tools, observing security measures aimed at preventing data loss, illicit or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Data is processed exclusively by personnel, mainly technical, authorized for processing or by any authorized persons for occasional maintenance operations, according to the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency, relevance, and non-excessive processing in relation to the purposes of collection and subsequent processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Any personal data provided by users who register or use the App services of the Municipality of La Maddalena\u2014providing references such as name, surname, residence, telephone references, and email address\u2014may be used for other processing operations in terms compatible with the purposes of collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Only if you are using the App in the corresponding functionality and only during a visit to a cultural site, we will process any Bluetooth-based detection of your proximity to one of the cultural site's beacons. These enable you to enjoy multimedia content provided by the App in relation to the entities located there. Detection will not communicate your geolocated position (i.e., using coordinates) and will be carried out if the Bluetooth functionality is activated on your mobile device where the App is installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Such data is not collected for the purpose of associating it with identified subjects; however, by its very nature, it could allow for user identification through processing and association with data held by third parties, especially when it is necessary to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the App. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The data requested, in order to allow the use of various functionalities on the App, are those relating to location and Bluetooth access, required for purely technical needs. Location is used to establish the distance between the user and a Point of Interest (PoI), while Bluetooth allows for the localization of Beacons positioned on physical totems and distributed strategically throughout the territory (providing proximity information). All calls (hereinafter \"call\") are initiated from the APP to the Server, which responds with the requested data. Along with the \"call\" and the type of request (PoI list, single PoI, itinerary, etc.), the following are transmitted: position (latitude and longitude provided by the device) and the ID. This is a \"randomly self-generated\" ID created upon the first installation of the App and stored in the local storage of the individual device (this data, like all other information stored in local storage, can be removed voluntarily or automatically when cleaning phone memory; therefore, at each new use of the App, in the absence of previously stored data, the system will generate a new one). The ID serves solely to recognize the \"requesting device\" and manage the uniqueness of various requests for statistical purposes. That said, at every APP->Server call, the system, based on its programming, sends data to the application expressly dedicated to measurement. This data may include, for example: type of call (PoI, PoI list, etc.), ID of the requested resource (PoI, Itinerary, News), Date (date of the call), Position (latitude and longitude), ID (random ID of the App user which serves, as mentioned, to \"uniquely\" identify the device), and Language (the language chosen and used by the user in the application and in which content is requested). The measurement system will save the data in a dedicated database. The device ID, which as emphasized, is acquired and stored solely to understand if a specific request\/call is made by the same user rather than others, thus indicating to the system the type of analysis to be performed on that specific data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Specific summary information notices will be reported or displayed on the App pages prepared for particular services upon request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
